Jose Mourinho Determined To Snatch Star Player To Man United In Summer Transfer!
New reports stated that Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Cesc Fabregas’ situation at the Stamford Bridge.
According to new reports in the British media, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho remains interested in signing Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea come summer.
The Telegraph reported that the Portuguese tactician would be keen to make an official bid for the Spaniard midfielder if he can tempt Chelsea into doing business with one of their long-term Premier League rivals.
The report stated further that Serie A giants AC Milan are ready to offer £27m in a bid to lure 29-year-old Fabregas to Serie A this summer.
The report goes on to explain that Jose Mourinho remains a huge admirer of the former Arsenal captain. The Portuguese coach was the one who brought him (Fabregas) to the Stamford Bridge club back in the summer of 2014. And as things stands now, Manchester United could make an official bid for the Spanish international if the west London club accept a bid from elsewhere.
The Telegraph however suggested that since Chelsea refused to sell the duo of Willian and Nemanja Matic to Manchester United last summer, then it might be that the west London club would be unlikely to sell to the Old Trafford club this year too.
Fabregas’ future at Stamford Bridge has been a source of speculation for sometime, despite the players’ insistence that he is happy to fight for his place at the club.
This season under Chelsea’s new Italian coach Antonio Conte, the former Arsenal playmaker has found his first-team opportunities restricted and he has only made six Premier League starts under the former Juventus boss -despite impressing when called upon.
