Chelsea star player Nemanja Matic appears destined to move away from Chelsea this summer with Tiemoue Bakayoko’s move to Stamford Bridge getting closer.
The player has been heavily linked with a reunion with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United ahead of next season.
However, in a new development, there are reports that Italian heavyweights Inter Milan have joined Jose Mourinho’s side in the race to secure the Serbian’s signature by entering into talks over a £35million deal for the defensive midfielder.
It seems Matic won’t be a key part of Antonio Conte’s plans for next campaign with reports linking him with a move away from west London for much of the summer so far.
Even though he had been linked with Juventus at some point this summer, Manchester United have been at the forefront in the attempt to get the former Benfica player as Jose Mourinho is still in need of a strong defensive midfielder in his squad.
And according to Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan have now made an initial approach worth around £35 Million for the Serbia international as they look to add more quality to their team ahead of next season.
Chelsea look set to bring in France international Tiemoue Bakayoko as Bakayoko’s replacement, and the Milan club are now at alert to secure his services.
