Liverpool FC played against German club, Borussia Dortmund in the US Pre-season tour game at the Bank of America stadium, North Carolina.

The match which was watched by over 55000 fans saw Liverpool thrashed in a game that ended 3-1 in favour of Dortmund.

However, Liverpool fans have pointed accusing fingers at Divock Origi as the player who caused the defeat because of his poor performance.

23-year-old Origi is not a regular player for the Reds as in most cases he is always out on loan.

And the recent club where he played on loan was at Wolfsburg, where he scored 7 goals in 36 appearances.

However, he seems to be at a loss of ideas when he played for Liverpool against Dortmund.

As what would have been his chance to make it to the Reds senior team turned out to be a bitter experience for him.

To make matter worse for him, a number of Liverpool fans took to their various social media handle to blast Origi as they advised Liverpool to sell him off completely instead of loaning him out to other clubs.

While Divock Origi performed woefully, Dortmund player, 19-year-old Christian Pulisic was the sensational player of the match.
