Burnley shot-stopper Nick Pope has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The talented goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move away from Burnley this summer, and there are reports that the Anfield club are plotting to make a £15 Million bid for his signature.
Liverpool are understood to be in the market for a new shot-stopper and desire utilising the summer transfer window to get it sorted. After gifting Real Madrid two goals in the Champions League final some days back at Kiev, it is glaring Loris Karius must be replaced in-between the sticks.
And the Sun made it known that Jurgen Klopp’s side are planning to sign Nick as an alternative to Brazilian’s Alisson and that they will submit an offer worth £15 Million to Burnley.
It was said that Roma are not changing their stance on Alisson’s issue: £79M or he is not leaving!
In such a case, Liverpool can focus on Nick and get his signature without having to splash too much cash.
He was impressive for his side last season in the absence of Tom Heaton and will definitely embrace the idea of moving to a top club like Liverpool where he would have the chance to play in the Champions League and earn more money.
Is it reasonable that Jurgen Klopp should forget Alisson and focus on Nick Pope?
