Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent times, and according to new reports, the La Liga heavyweights are going to allow him to negotiate a summer transfer with any club he desires to join.
Ronaldo is reportedly not happy with Real for failing to give him the necessary support over his tax case last year. Additionally, he isn’t pleased with the fact that he hasn’t been offered a new deal that befits his status as the best player in the world.
The Portuguese superstar wants to earn as much as Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, but the Madrid club are not ready to offer him a new deal.
Ronaldo is now trying to force his way out of the Bernabeu, and it was made known that the Champions League winners are also willing to allow him to leave this summer.
The former Manchester United star has a huge release clause of €1 billion in his current contract at Real, but the report also added that the club won’t demand anything close to that.
Cristiano has reportedly asked the Spanish champions to allow him to eave for a fee around £88m, and the management have agreed to a compromise.
It is believed his most preferred destination is Old Trafford, but he has also been linked with Ligue 1 heavyweights PSG.
