Although before the game started there was widespread speculation that Spurs would be victorious against inconsistent Manchester United, the first half of the game proved to be true at Wembley after a superb encounter by spurs that lead to an early goal.
Christian Erikson was the brain behind Dele Alli’s goal that put Spurs ahead of Manchester United just 11 minutes of play.
Spurs kept pushing in style but the equalizer came just 24 minutes thanks to Paul Pogba’s brilliant cross to Alexis Sanchez.
Almost at the end of the first half, Spurs created another chance that almost lead to a goal.
Just as the game between United and City, the second half was in favour of Manchester United and they took control of the game.
Romelu Lukaku showed some brilliance and somehow Ander Herrera finished past Spurs Goalkeeper Michel Vorm, from there on Spurs failed to do very much to equalize.
Moussa Dembele quick fit was nowhere to be found as he consistently lost the ball to the opponent.
Harry Kane display was rarely rated average, he looks unfit after a comeback from his ankle injury.
Heung Min Son also failed to impress.
And, fans on twitter showed there anger on Spurs stars as they once again failed against Jose Mourinho’s side.
Spurs fans were particularly harsh with Harry Kane.
