Callum Wilson

Merseyside giants Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign in-form Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

This is according to the publication from popular English news outlet The Sun which claimed that the Toffees have serious interest in the England international player.

Callum Wilson was heavily linked with a move to West London giants Chelsea before the January transfer window but the Blues opted for Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain.

The former Napoli player joined the Blues on a short-term loan during the winter transfer window.

Higuain signed for Chelsea on loan from Italian champions Juventus shortly after he terminated his loan spell with AC Milan.

Chelsea have the option to make his transfer permanent or look for another option like Callum Wilson.

The Bournemouth player has been in good form for the Cherries in the Premier League this season.

He has scored 11 goals for his side in the league this season despite the injury problems he has had in recent weeks.

Callum Wilson became a full England international earlier this season.

The 27-year-old made a goalscoring debut for the Three Lions of England against the United States of America.

His goal wrapped up a 3-0 win for England in what was an international friendly game.
