Chelsea have reportedly tabled a £35million offer to land Daniele Rugani from Serie A side Juventus, as per reports.

The 2017 Premier League champions have allegedly made a £35millio offer to try and complete the signing of Daniele Rugani from Turin and make him their first signing this summer window, according to British media reports.
The Evening Standard is claiming that the West Londoners are interested in a deal to land the Serie A defender this summer window as they look to further strengthen their defensive options next term.
Chelsea seek defensive reinforcement
The same story says that Chelsea are hoping that the defender can become the first intake of the Maurizio Sarri reign at the London club, with the Italian tactician widely expected to replace Antonio Conte this summer window.
Rugani has been heavily linked with a transfer to Stamford bridge recently and the 23-year-old is generally regarded to be one of Europe’s top young defenders.
As per the same report, the defender is set to leave the Serie A club this summer window after having started just 22 matches in the league for the Italian club last season.
Chelsea side are thought to be preparing the bid of a five-year deal for the Juventus youngster, worth £60,000-week, which is about double what he presently earns.
