Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has hinted that he could retire from football after leaving the German Bundesliga champions this summer despite the transfer links to other European clubs.
Robben is expected to leave the Bavarian giants this summer after a decade of service and the former Chelsea winger has been touted as a possible transfer addition to clubs like Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan as well as former clubs PSV Eindhoven and Groningen but the player says he could still retire from football due to his injury problems.
The 35-year-old has battled with several injuries throughout his career including his time with Bayern Munich.
He has spent a decade with the German champions.
Arjen Robben won the Champions League title with the club in 2013 via a 2-1 win over Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund.
The flying Dutchman scored the winning goal in that Champions League final against Dortmund.
Robben talked extensively about his future during a press conference held on Tuesday as he revealed that no decision has been made on his future.
Several players will leave the Bavarian giants this summer including Arjen Robben.
The likes of ex-French international Frank Ribery and Brazilian fullback Rafinha will also leave the Allianz Arena this summer.
