According to new reports from Italy, Serie A champions Juventus are now ready to allow Brazilian star Alex Sandro leave the club this summer and are putting a £61million fee on his head.
Even though he has emerged as a target for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, the Samba star has also been strongly linked repeatedly with premier league champions Chelsea.
Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte is understood to be in need of a good wing-back who can fit into his classic 3-4-3 system at Stamford Bridge. Additionally, Conte is reportedly trying to get flexible next season and would occasionally field a three at the back and a four at the back formation.
Sandro has been an important member of the Juventus squad in the last couple of seasons. Nevertheless, the Turin club is still willing to cash in on him if the right offer comes this summer.
Tuttosport says clubs interested in Sandro can only get him if they can give the Champions League finalists £61million. Even though the 26-year-old would be missed at the squad if he should eventually move, Juve can utilise the huge fund to do other big things.
Last summer, the old ladies were able to sell French star Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a world record fee.
