Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam has rejected a new contract amid reported interest from Chelsea.
Antonio Conte is keen to add defensive options to his current squad despite being on an impressive form.
Ghoulam has impressed for Napoli since he joined from Saint-Etienne in January 2014 but is reluctant to sign a new deal amidst interest from the Blues.
Reports in the Evening Standard claim that the Algerian wants at least £40,000, as well as a £34million release clause.
Following his reported stand-off, the Blues have emerged potential suitors to the left back who also been chased by other clubs.
There are also interest from other European clubs with the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain also monitoring his situation with Napoli.
