Jamie Redknapp feels that Premier League giants Chelsea could sign Wales attacker Gareth Bale from La Liga giants Real Madrid as part of a swap deal to offload Eden Hazard to the Spanish outfit.
Hazard linked with Real Madrid move
The 27-years-old has long been strongly linked with a transfer to Real Madrid and there is bound to be a lot of fresh rumour linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu after the Blues missed out on Champions League qualification.
The Belgium international has frequently insisted that he is happy at the West London club but it remains to be seen if La Liga giants Real Madrid will indeed make a switch for him this summer transfer window.
And ex-Liverpool player Redknapp feels that the Blues could use the deal to their advantage and attempt to bring in Wales superstar Gareth Bale as part of the switch.
Gareth Bale has been strongly linked with a move away from Madrid recently after he heavily struggled for consistency and fitness this campaign.
Redknapp want Chelsea and United to make move
And Redknapp believes that both Chelsea and Manchester United would be wise to make moves for Gareth Bale this summer window.
The Blues will aim to end the campaign on a positive note by defeating Manchester United at Wembley in the Emirates FA Cup final on Saturday evening.
