Rather disappointing season

Premier League giant Chelsea booked their place in the Emirates FA Cup final on Sunday with a win over Southampton at Wembley Stadium, but it remains tough to let go the feeling that this campaign has been poor for Chelsea.

Poor recruitment

Antonio Conte’s team was superb in winning last year’s English Premier League title and, while wrong changes players undoubtedly played a role in halting their brilliant momentum.

A summer window of rebuilding once more looks on the cards at Stamford Bridge, and a name reportedly on their wishlist is PSG’s on-loan wideman Gonçalo Guedes. The Portuguese has had an excellent campaign at Valencia and, with the player’s parent club reportedly wanting to cash in, a transfer to West London could well happen.

Fantastic youngster

Gonçalo Guedes has only missed 6 matches in the Spanish La Liga this season, but the La Liga club’s form has dropped when the winger has been unavailable for selection.

Guedes 21 will only improve in the coming seasons, 4 goals and 9 assists in 23 Spanish La Liga matches show that he’s ready to play at the highest level.

It’s Crystal clear that Antonio Conte’s squad needs reinforcement, with their forward line lacking consistency and fluidity this season, and the youngster could be a great addition.
