Barcelona are reportedly plotting a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The French star was heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou in the last days of the Premier League transfer window, with reports that the player has told his close pals that he will be leaving United in favour of a move to Barca.
Barcelona also made concrete attempts to sign Pogba, offering 50 million pounds plus two players- Yerry Mina and Andre Gomez which was immediately rejected by Manchester United, who were keen to hold on their prized asset.
However, it is understood that Pogba was getting weary of his strained relationship with his boss, Jose Mourinho who has repeatedly criticized the player’s tactical indiscipline.
Having played a major role in France’s World Cup triumph, there were reports that Paul Pogba was ready to leave United for good, as former side Juventus plotted a cash plus player move that will see Miralem Pjanic move to Old Trafford.
Reports in the Telegraph have it that Barcelona are ready to wait out the transfer move and will still intensify their efforts to sign Pogba in the coming months with the aim of reaching an agreement with the parties involved by the next summer transfer window.
