Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are pushing to secure the signature of former arsenal attacker Carlos Vela before the end of this January transfer window, according to latest reports.
The Spanish giants are currently battling with goal scoring options in third team with Munir El Haddadi already gone to Seville while former Liverpool man Luiz Suarez needs to have a good competition in the team.
However, they are already planning a swoop on the Mexico international forward who is impressing this season and showing he can again play at a big stage and club like Barcelona.
Carlos Vela, who currently plays in the MLS earlier, had a spell in the Spanish La Liga with Real Sociedad and he could be set to return back but this time around, to a bigger club.
So far this season, Carlos Vela has had 28 games under his belt and has been able to deliver a total of 14 goals and 10 assist, making him one of the best strikers in the American topflight league.
Suggestions are that the former North London player will jump at the offer from the Spanish giants as he would be willing to showcase his form in the La Liga once again.
