This Bad News For Manchester United Is Good News For Chelsea

It appears France international Anthony Martial won’t be playing at Old Trafford next season. His agent has confirmed the player desire dumping the red devils this summer.

Martial joined Manchester United in 2015 and quickly settled to life at Old Trafford under former manager Van Gaal. He became the most expensive teenager in football history after the red devils sign him from Monaco, and he was able to prove his worth that same year.

However, the French forward keeps struggling for consistency after manager Jose Mourinho arrived at the club to become boss at the Theater of Dreams. The French star has been relegated to a team player since Alexis Sanchez arrived Old Trafford in January, and was able to start just 18 top flight games last term.

Due to his lack of regular playing time at his side, the former Monaco star was left out of the French party that travelled to Russia for the World Cup.

The player has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United and has been linked with Chelsea this summer.

We shouldn’t be too surprised seeing the player at Stamford Bridge next season after his agent confirmed his client wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Speaking recently to newsmen about the player, Philippe Lamboley made it known that although the red devils are trying to offer the player a new deal to extend his stay at the club, the 22-year-old is set to leave Manchester.
