Arsenal, Tottenham to battle for 23-year-old versatile midfielder
North London sides Arsenal and Tottenham are reported to be in a battle for the signature of Hoffenheim versatile midfielder Florian Grillitsch ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
The 23-year-old has been impressive for the German Bundesliga outfit after joining from Werder Bremen in January which has made him linked with a number of clubs across Europe.
Reports state that the Gunners and their North London rivals are in the front queue of the race for the player and they will battle to secure his service as both sides are keen on having him as early as in January.
Florian Grillitsch has just had a goal to his name in the 18 games under his belt for the Bundesliga side. He is linked already away from the club and might not remain in Germany.
The Gunners are keen to have the star midfielder so as to have him as a replacement for departing Wales international star Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey will leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season after he failed to agree on a new and improved deal with the club with his current deal set to run out at the end of the campaign.
