According to reports, Arsenal make surprise decision To Offload Long-Serving Midfield Maestro Next Summer window decision to sell Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer transfer window to prevent losing the maestro on a free the following season.
Deal running out
The Wales international midfielder’s current contract is due to run out at the end of next campaign and it looks like the side would prefer to offload him now rather than hand him a new deal.
Despite almost a decade of good service to the Gunners, the midfielder has not looked at his best shape recently and the Daily Mail suggest the side have already begun looking at possible replacements for the player in the midfield.
Aaron Ramsey displayed a lot of promise when he signed as a teenage sensation from Cardiff back in 2008, but he sustained a terrible leg-break injury the season after.
Dropping form
Some football fans would argue the midfielder has not looked the same top player since, and despite a relative purple patch of shape in 2013/14, his continued with fitness issues, meaning he’s never completely established himself as a first-team regular in Arsene Wenger’s line up.
The 27-year-old midfield will always be remembered for netting two Emirates FA Cup final wins, first against Hull back in 2014 and then in last term’s victory over Chelsea.
