Arsenal will apparently endorse a £14m move for Lucas Perez to Deportivo La Coruna before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Spaniard is eager to leave the Emirates in the wake of playing 11 matches in the top flight last season.
Deportivo have just had two offers of £9m, and £11m turned down for the 28-year-old with the Gunners hoping to recover the whole £17m paid for him a year back.
Notwithstanding, with Arsene Wenger anxious to trim his first-team, the Gunners’ Chief are set to come to an agreement over a summer transfer fee with a £14million sum enough to do business with the La Liga club, as per London Evening Standard.
Perez endured a frustrating season last term as he played only two games in the Premier League.
In spite of the fact that he scored seven goals in 21 matches across all competition, the striker is eyeing a return home to earn a Spain call-up.
Newcastle United and Swansea City have also tried to lure the Spaniard, but both are offering a temporary deal which Arsenal don’t want.
Everton are the other suitor, but he is keen to force through a switch to Deportivo, where he scored 17 goals in the 2015/16 Spanish La Liga season.
