Following the rejection of the first bid for Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze by Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal, English Premier League side Arsenal have hit the road for a second bid.
The North London side ought to have captured the signature of the 19-year-old in 2016 as they made attempt the same day a deal was signed with Kelechi Nwakali at the Emirates Stadium.
The report claim that Samuel Chukwueze actually wanted to move to the Emirates Stadium but his former Diamond Academy president Martin Apugo was reluctant as he wished the player moved elsewhere.
However, he stated that there was no way he could convince Samuel Chukwueze. However a deal for him crashed and he had his way to Villarreal.
He is now reportedly set to return back to the club of his choice with the North London side on the verge of submitting a bid for the star player who has scored a total of four goals in the 13 La Liga appearances under his belt.
There is no doubt that the player would be allowed to leave the Spanish side as early as in the winter transfer window with the Gunners set to submit a lucrative offer for him.
