Chelsea fans are not currently the most happiest set of people in the world. Apart from the fact of losing painfully to Manchester United yesterday and their players could not add much to the situation, their club is now being pressurized about the possibility of being overhauled by second placed Tottenham Hotspur.
And right now, Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte is taking all the blame for the loss, as the Italian boss says he is to be blamed for the disappointing defeat.
Manchester United, after failing to get a win at Belgium in an Europa League encounter on Thursday, successfully emerged victors against Chelsea at home in their next premier league game. It was an early goal from Marcus Rashford and a second half attempt from Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera that helped United get the 2-0 win.
And Chelsea’s boss is taking the blame for the defeat, stating that he was not able to give his men the right motivation for such type of game.
He attested that Man United deserves the full three points because they showed more desire than his side and had more motivation.
However, Chelsea and the fans should put the ugly turn of things behind and concentrate on the rest of the few games.
Their lead at the top of the table is now reduced to just four points following Tottenham’s 4-0 thrashing of Bournemouth on Saturday.
