Without doubt, Manchester United have one of the world best goal keeper – in the person of David De Gea.
Nevertheless, the Spanish shot-stopper has been linked with a move out of the Old Trafford club in recent times, and it seems he will eventually depart Man United to another club in the upcoming summer transfer window.
And according to new reports, while De Gea would leave, Manchester United will replace him with Atletico Madrid’s current first choice goalie Jan Oblak, as it was claimed the Slovenian international is also interested in joining Man United in the summer transfer window.
Oblak has been impressive for Diego Simeone’s side and he was even voted last term as the best goalkeeper in the La Liga for his impressive form.
Last season, he featured in all league game for the Madrid club and conceded 18 goals. This current campaign, he has, in 21 league games, conceded 17 goals.
Just last month in Atletico Madrid’s champions league game against Bayer Leverkusen, the goalie made a superb triple save during the game that stunned many. Even his teammate Griezmann declared that he is the best goalkeeper in the world, proving that every game he features in is a proof.
Oblak has a release clause of 100 million euros (that is £85million) currently in his contract. So if Mourinho really needs him, he should be set to spend lots of money.
