Agent Set To Storm England To Finalise United’s Last-minute Transfer

It appears Toby Alderweireld will become a Manchester United player few hours from now.

According to new reports circulating in the media, his agent is set to jet into England to secure his move to Old Trafford on deadline day.

The talented defender has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham for much of this summer as a result of his talents and abilities, and it is understood he will reject other clubs in order to join Manchester United before deadline day.

Before now, Tottenham were playing hardball over Toby’s signature, and they were insisting they won’t sell him below £75million.

However, they have reportedly chosen to lower their asking price to £60m for the Belgium international to avoid losing him for almost nothing when next summer comes.

This is because, Alderweireld’s current contract at the London club is meant to expire next June – but there is an option to have it extended for an additional year. However, should they do that, Toby could leave for as little as £25m next summer.

And according to new reports, the player’s agent is on his toes to jet to England should in case the red devils make a last-minute offer to secure Alderweireld’s services before the end of the transfer window.
