Olympiacos defender Bjorn Engels has revealed that his dream is to play for the North London side Arsenal.
Bjorn Engels is currently on loan at French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes told L’Equipe that he wishes to have a move to the Emirates Stadium in the nearest future.
This might be a crying call from the player to the North London outfit to come for him as he will only jump at the offer when he comes.
Bjorn Engels noted that he is still progressing as a player but hopes to become the best in his position in coming years which will make him a good fit for the Gunners side.
However, he made it clear that he might be stopped by the wish of his wife to have him join the Merseyside club Liverpool as she is a big supporter of the current league leaders.
He noted that his wife is from Liverpool and she has all of her family residing there which is the major reason why she will prefer a move to Liverpool instead.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are in search of a top quality defender but it is uncertain if the North London side will heed to the call by the player to have him switch over.
