Arsenal Star Not Distracted By Man United Link – Report

Arsenal star player Mesut Ozil has made it known that he won’t be distracted by rumours linking him with a move to Old Trafford next summer.

The talented player’s current deal at Arsenal will get expired next summer, but he is yet to sign a new contract that will extend his stay at the club.

Few days back, there were rumours that the Germany international had already informed his teammates at Arsenal that he is aiming at reuniting with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Both Mourinho and Ozil were at Real Madrid together some years back.

However, on Friday, the Sun claimed that a close friend of the player made it known that the midfielder desire remaining with Arsenal even though he is yet to agree to terms for a new deal with the club.

Manager Arsene Wenger led his men to Everton on Sunday, and they were able to beat the home side to earn all three points after the last weekend’s defeat to Watford.

Mesut took part in training on Saturday and, posting a training picture on his twitter page, said:

‘Ignore the noise and stay focused’.

On Sunday against Everton, the German star was able to score his first goal of the season at Goodison Park, and he also provided an assist to his teammate to score.
