Tiemoue Bakayoko

French Ligue I champions Monaco were superb this season – thanks to their star players who were in good form.

One of their stars who contributed massively to their success this season is Frenchman Tiemoue Bakayoko. His performances didn’t go unnoticed and as expected various big clubs have picked up interest in him.

He has been linked with three top clubs in the premier league: Chelsea, Man United, and Liverpool – and he is projected to move to England when summer comes.

However, in a new development, it was reported that both Manchester United and Liverpool have held initial talks with the midfielder’s club over his possible signing.

Apart from English clubs, another big club said to be after him is PSG. Since the 22-year-old was born in Paris, it was assumed that he would likely ignore the English clubs to move to Paris – his home of birth.

However, few days ago in a recent interview, the defensive midfielder ruled out PSG thus making a move to the English top flight more realistic.

It was reported by Daily Mail that even though the premier league champions Chelsea plan a meeting with Monaco this week, the Red devils and Jurgen Klopp’s side were faster, and have beaten Chelsea to talks.

The France international is valued at £50million by the French club, and their president has stated that he will not stand in the way of any of their stars that desires leaving the club when summer comes.
