Monaco have won the French Ligue I trophy this season. The French club have been fantastic by dominating the Ligue I table for weeks before officially crowned French champions.
Apart from their local dominion, Monaco also proved themselves to be one of the top teams in the whole of Europe by competing in the Champions League. They only left the competition after being knocked out by Juventus in the semi finals of the race.
The club have got a handful of superb players who sprout to limelight this season through efforts. And as expected, some of them have got the attention of some top clubs across Europe.
One of whic is France star player Tiemoue Bakayoko. The defensive midfielder has emerged as a target for a handful of top clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, and also PSG.
Bakayoko has been heavily linked with a move away from his French club this summer with the Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester United showing interests.
The France international was born in Paris, and PSG are keen on bringing in new legs at the end of this season after losing the Ligue I to Monaco. So, it is assumed that he is liable to ignore other advances – including Chelsea’s and United’s, and move to PSG.
However, the 22-year-old has given the two premier league clubs a boost by ruling out a move to PSG when summer comes.
The talented player admitted that though he supports the club, it is impossible for him to join Paris Saint-Germain.
