Chelsea won Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge last night to strengthen their domination at the top of the premier league table.

And City’s boss Pep Guardioa, making some post-match comments after his team lost to the premier league leaders, appeared to take a little dig at Jose Mourinho and his Man United team.

Belgium international Eden Hazard scored twice at Stamford Bridge to put Man City’s title hopes this season to an abrupt end. Man City’s loss yesterday was also their second defeat of the season against the Stamford Bridge club.

Following the defeat, the Sky Blue outfit are still in danger of finishing outside the top four. But still yet, their manager appears to be proud about the way his boys took the game to Chelsea in way other clubs like Manchester United failed to do when they met Conte’s side this current term.

Guardiola stated that he felt lucky to be the manager of the club and the players who came to Chelsea’s home ground to play quite well.

He believed his side played with huge personality, and in his words, not like ‘many teams who played at Stamford Bridge with six men at the back.’

Jose Mourinho’s side lost 4-0 to Chelsea back then in October and were also beaten during their FA Cup encounter last month. At the FA Cup played at Chelsea’s home ground, United were only able to get just one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes.
