Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Man United are still in search of a new manager after the sack of former manager Jose Mourinho last year December.

The Portuguese boss was immediately replaced by a former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who took over as an interim manager with the club making it known that they will be all out for a permanent and experienced manager ahead of the coming season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now joined the contest and candidate for the position because of the impressive performance within the last few months he handled the team. In addition to returning the team to winning ways, he has brought back hope of a top-four finish and has led the Red Devils to the Champions League quarter-finals.

However, he has been tipped to take over the job on a permanent basis with most of the club’s former players and legends backing him up.

Red Devils legend Wayne Rooney is one of the players who claim the club have no one to consider except Ole Gunnar Solskjaer because of the relief he has given to the fans.

More so, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been able to return the club back to its traditional style and spirit which brings back the memory of legendary manager Alex Ferguson. Wayne Rooney is of the opinion that the feat is more than enough.
