It is no longer news that English Premier League outfit Arsenal are in need of financial backing to be able to secure new additions so as to strengthen the team before the end of this winter transfer window.
So far no deal has been sealed and that has been traced to the lack of funds with the North London side insisting on loan deals while clubs want to have a permanent deal at once.
However, a tricky offer from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico has arrived for embattled German international Mesut Ozil, according to reports.
It is understood that the La Liga outfit have submitted an offer of £18 million for the services of the former Real Madrid star who is not finding life good at the Emirate Stadium.
Suggestions are that the Gunners will not hesitate to accept the deal as they are in need of funds to secure other deals known that Mesut Ozil has not been contributing enough to the team.
Also, the departure of the former Real Madrid player is believed to help the North London outfit lessen the burden of the weekly wage.
Mesut Ozil is the highest earning player at the Emirate Stadium with £350,000-a-week but his contribution to the team cannot measure up to the amount.
