Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has in his opinion stated that something must have happened to Germany international Mesut Ozil along the line which has reduced his quality and performance on the pitch.
The former Real Madrid star has not been giving his best to the club which is the reason why he is being snubbed by the Spanish manager Unai Emery in most games.
Unai Emery is claimed to have demanded more from the player which could not be given and that has resulted in a fallout between them with claims that the manager seeks an immediate exit of the star player.
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger who was in charge when Mesut Ozil was handed a mega deal stated that the weekly wage of the player seems to have affected him as it has placed him in a comfort zone.
Wenger stated that handing a long term contract to a player who is good does not guarantee having him to play the best for the duration of the terms as he could just be at his comfort zone.
However, it is unsure if the Gunners will have Ozil Remain at the club after this season but the World Cup winner has made it clear that he would remain at the Emirate Stadium and fight for a starting role.
