Liverpool will host Man City on Sunday after an embarrassing performance against Italian club, Napoli in the UCL on Wednesday night.
The Reds will be playing at home this time around while they host Pep Guardiola and his boys at Anfield.
This comes after Liverpool suffered a defeat in Italy on Wednesday night, with Napoli holding down their three strikers.
It was the worst performance the Reds have ever put up under Jurgen Klopp because they didn’t have one shot on target.
But Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back when they face Man City on Sunday.
A new report from Man City has put Liverpool at some advantage owing to the fact that three Man City stars will be absent from the match.
The Man City players likely to be absent from the match include, Benjamin Mendy, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne.
Ilkay Gundogan is injured, Pep disclosing that he is yet to know the nature of his injury.
Benjamin Mendy is likely not to play for Man City owing to his absence from the City squad.
Kevin De Bruyne is back to training but will not play for Man City untill after the international break.
