Video: Wijnaldum destroys Jerome Boateng as he scored the third goal for Netherlands

The Netherlands played Germany on Saturday in the Uefa Nations League.

However, the game ended in a disastrous way for the Germans – who happened to be a world cup champion.

The Netherlands went ahead to defeat Germany with three goals to nothing.

According to the match record, the first and the last goal for the Netherlands came from two Liverpool key players; Virgil van Dijk (left back defender) and Gini Wijnadum ( midfielder.)

However, the goal scored by Wijnadum was a solo goal that saw the midfielder hoodwinking Germany’s top defender, Jerome Boateng.

It was a huge embarrassment for Boateng, who Wijnadum skillfully dropped off at the back before the bursting run to the box to score the third goal in the 93rd minute.

The Reds midfielder not only showed his skill but seems to have recognized Jerome Boateng’s weakness – this is because the same dribbling skill Wijnaldum used on him was the same skill World football star, Lionel Messi used against Boateng in the 2015 Uefa Champions League.

You need to watch this video to appreciate Wijnaldum’s creativity.

Liverpool FC will expect to see many of this kind of skill from Wijnadum in the English Premier League and hopefully, he may help Liverpool win the title.

Apart from Eden Hazard, this player is the main man at Stamford Bridge
