Marcos Rojo

The 28-year-old is no doubt a very good defender but his time at Old Trafford may be as good as over.

The team have been very leaky at the back since the start of this season, they’ve conceded more goals than they did throughout last season.

Solskjaer must add at least one world-class centre-back to his defensive setup in January if he must qualify for next season’s Champions League competition.

For him to complete a move for any defender, the former Molde’s manager must sell one of his centre-backs in January and the Argentine is likely to be the sacrificial player.

Rojo has featured in just three Premier League games this campaign, no thanks to recurring injuries and loss of form.

To further worsen his situation, José Mourinho brought Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly to the team in the 2017-18 season which further pushed the Argentine down the pecking order.

He has featured in just 12 matches since last season and he didn’t appear to have a long-term future at the Theater of Dreams.

In Solskjaer’s first game, Rojo was ignored in the starting lineup by the new manager, signifying that he isn’t in the manager’s plan for the rest of the season.

As long as he remains fit, the 28-year-old won’t stay long without a club. His no-nonsense defending trait will surely attract more suitors in the winter market.

Andreas Pereira

Like it or not, the Brazilian striker won’t get much game-time under Solskjaer for the rest of this season due to huge competition in the team.

The youngster was sent on loan to Spanish League in previous season before returning to Old Trafford prior to the start of this season.

Mourinho featured the player in a handful of games before he was sacked last week.

Forget the fact that he was given some minutes against Cardiff, Pereira will remain a fringe part of the team throughout the second period of this season.

Rashford, Martial, Lukaku, Sanchez and Lingard are all ahead of him in the striker’s pecking order and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

Despite Lukaku and Sanchez’s uninspiring form, Pereira isn’t certain to get a place in the starting lineup as Solskjaer won’t be courageous enough to drop the two stars for the inexperience youngster.

Pereira needs to leave Old Trafford as soon as possible so as to reach his full potentials within the shortest time.
