AS Monaco winger, Thomas Lemar wants to join Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has been tipped to make a move away from the Ligue 1 champions this summer following his impressive displays last season that has attracted a host of clubs to his signature since then.

Arsenal have been the frontrunners in the deal for the Frenchman this summer, until Arsene Wenger came out to dismiss reports that they were nearing a deal for the player, claiming AS Monaco has shut the door on a potential deal after failing with two bids for him.

However, reports in Express claim that Monaco are still open to the idea of selling Thomas Lemar this summer and looking for a fee in the region of 60 million pounds for the winger who fancies a move to the Old Trafford.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been tipped to make a move for a left winger this summer and a deal for Lemar could serve as an alternative to Ivan Perisic, whose move from Inter Milan has been hampered by the transfer deal.

The arrival of Lemar to the Old Trafford might see the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial fall down the pecking order at United.
