The NFL is Partnering With Tiger Woods for Flag Football and My Brain is Short-Circuiting

The NFL confirmed a massive flag football partnership with Tiger Woods’ TMRW Sports. What does this mean? Are they tackling on the putting green? Is Tiger Woods going to pull flags while holding a 9-iron? My brain cannot process this level of aggressive corporate synergy.

I like my sports kept entirely separate in neat, easily digestible boxes. When you start mixing golf legends with gridiron initiatives, the walls of my reality start to melt. I feel like I’m trapped in a highly targeted algorithm designed by an insane marketing executive.

I Reject This Future

I refuse to participate in this. I will not watch Tiger Woods try to explain the intricacies of a Cover 2 defense during a flag football tournament. I am unplugging my router. The future of sports is too weird for me.
