Leicester City winger, Riyad Mahrez is ready to sign a four-year deal with Arsenal ahead of a stunning summer move, according to reports.
The Algerian attacker has been tipped to leave the King Power stadium this summer following their dismal campaign, sparking interest from a number of clubs in Europe.
Arsenal and Chelsea were understood to have met with the player during the last summer window after he helped the Foxes to a wonderful campaign, winning the Premier League title against all odds but he chose to remain with the former champions, penning a new deal.
However, reports in various outlet have it that Mahrez finally wants to leave Leicester City this summer, arousing interest from Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Reports in Spanish outlet, Sport claim that the Gunners have spoken with the 24-year-old, who is ready to agree personal terms ahead of a move believed to worth around £35million.
It is understood that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes Mahrez can fill the boots of Alexis Sanchez, who has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave the Emirates this summer.
Chelsea are also believed to be considering a move for the Algerian, but might be beaten to the signature by their London rivals who are moving fast this transfer window.
