Arsenal boss Unai Emery is one of those who are impressed with the performance of Rob Holdings this season and he has hailed the club for standing by their decision to keep him at the club.
Rob Holding is one of those players that were contemplated to be sold in the summer but the club stood by the decision to keep him and not let him away on loan.
With the absent of Laurent Koscielny, Holding has been handed the opportunity to start games and he has paid the faith of the club and the manager having helped the North London side with its current unbeaten run which just extended to 17 after their 2-1 win against Bournemouth at the weekend.
Holding has started a total of 11 games in the last 13 across all competition and has been solid to be the saviours of the club at most times with his outstanding performance.
His presence in the heart of the Gunners defence has ensured that French defender Koscielny is not missed by the club.
Emery stated that after the decision for him to remain, Holding had the opportunity to play and he took advantage of it to seal a place in his team.
