Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a double raid on West London giants, Chelsea, ahead of the summer’s transfer window.

According to the publication from Spanish newspaper AS, the European champions are not only interested in a move for Eden Hazard.

It was also revealed that Real Madrid have a long-term interest in Spanish international star Marcos Alonso and could make a summer move for him.

Marcos Alonso has been subjected to severe criticisms by the Chelsea fans this season as a result of his below-par performances for the Blues.

The 28-year-old has struggled to maintain the lofty standards set in previous seasons.

The ex-Bolton Wanderers and Fiorentina defender excelled a great deal as a left wing-back in the three-man defence formation adopted by former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte but he has struggled since current boss Maurizio Sarri reverted to a back four.

Real Madrid could offer him a lifeline in terms of getting his ailing career back on track.

Marcos Alonso might follow Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer with recent reports claiming that the Belgian international player has already made up his mind about joining the Los Merengues.

Chelsea will demand at least £100m for the 28-year-old despite the fact that he would have one year left on his current deal in the summer.
