According to media reports, Emre Can is on the verge of being confirmed as a player of Serie A Champions Juventus as his Liverpool future looks in major doubt.
Turin Chief very optimistic
The Daily Express is reporting quotes from Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who has hinted heavily that a deal is in place to bring the German to Turin this summer transfer window.
Can’s Liverpool future has been a major source of rumour recently as he approaches the end of his present deal at Anfield.
The fact that the midfielder has not penned a fresh deal with Liverpool suggests that he could be ready to leave the Merseyside club on a free this summer.
Juventus strongly linked with move for Can
The Serie A champions have been heavily linked with a transfer move to land the 24-year-old German.
And the Juventus CEO has looked to confirm that a switch is indeed very close, saying he is very optimistic.
Despite the latest news, it is unlikely that the Turin giant will confirm a transfer deal to land Can before the UEFA Champions League final against La Liga giant Real Madrid on Saturday.
The attacking midfielder is currently close to recovery from an ankle problem and will be hoping to play a part in the crucial European clash in Kiev.
