Mourinho Ready To Sign World-Class Star To Partner Paul Pogba In Midfield

Jose Mourinho has brought back smiles to the faces of thousands of Man United fans all over the world by winning the Europa League.

As expected, he is working towards bolstering his squad by utilising the fast approaching summer transfer window ahead of a busy campaign next season.

Already, Mourinho has made Atletico Madrid star forward Antoine Griezmann one of his major priority ahead of summer. Right now, news coming from France also revealed that the Portuguese boss is also keen on another French player Blaise Matuidi.

Le10sport suggested that the former Real Madrid boss is interested in bringing a midfielder that can get the best out of Paul Pogba, and he has settled for Blaise.

The PSG star played alongside Pogba in the French national team, and Mourinho thinks the duo will be fine together at Man United.

Of course, it would have been less likely that Man United can get him if they didn’t book a place in next season’s Champions League. But since they won the Europa League final against Ajax on Wednesday, they’ve been guaranteed a place in the Champions League, and now have the confidence to go for the top guys this summer.

Matuidi is not expected to be as expensive as Griezmann, considering that he has just a year left on his contract at his French club. This season in 34 appearances for PSG, he scored four times and provided four assists too.
