Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has stated that he is not worried about the contract issues of Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea at the club.

The contract of the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper ends at the end of the season and he has refused to put pen to paper with reports that he is bent on leaving the club as a result of the style of the Portuguese manager.

Juventus are reported to be monitoring the player as it is revealed that they will be willing to have him as a free player and also give him a befitting deal.

The former Chelsea boss stated that he does not know how to describe the situation with the player but hinted that there are already talks on the table to have him stay beyond his current deal.

Although Mourinho is expected to be on the same page with the player knowing that they both have Jorge Mendes as their agents but they seem to be at loggerheads and that may have any impact for now.

David de Gea has been in the pole for United’s poor outing this season, a dent to his career with suggestions that he is no longer comfortable with the situation at the club.
