Mo Is Fine: Liverpool Star Could Still Feature THIS Season

Liverpool manager has allayed fears over the health situation of star player Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian international was stretched off during the 3-2 win over hosts Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at the St. James Park on Saturday evening.

In his post-match thoughts, the German tactician told reporters that Salah is fine and that he was in the dressing room watching the game when they walked in shortly after the five-goal thriller with the Magpies.

Klopp and his players have to dig deep to secure a 3-2 win over their hosts in their quest to win the league title.

He fielded questions over Mohamed Salah who was carried off on a stretcher with a knee injury after he received a knee to the head from Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Salah was taken off with the scores at 2-2 but Liverpool managed to get the all-important third goal after his replacement Divock Origi got a late goal for the Reds in the final ten minutes of the game.

The Egyptian international had scored a second Liverpool goal in the first half to add to the opening strike from Virgil Van Dijk either side of the first equalizer from Ghanaian international Christian Atsu for Newcastle United.

Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon scored a second equalizer for the Magpies at the start of the second half before the late show from Origi.

Salah is now a big doubt for the final two games of the season, second leg clash with Spanish champions Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals and the last league game of the season at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
