Man Utd strip Argentine defender of his shirt number as he may be shown the exit door soon
Manchester United won their first game in 2018/19 season of the English Premier League as they now have 3 points having defeated Leicester City.
However, the aftermath of the match have seen the Red Devils make some changes to their squad arrangement and shirt number.
New report have made it known that Man Utd have stripped defender, Marcus Rojo of his shirt No.
The Argentina international who had adorned the shirt No 5 at Old Trafford will now wear No 16.
Before Rojo was handed the shirt No 5, it had previously been won by legendary player, Rio Ferdinand.
This new development might be a hint that Marcus Rojo, who arrive at Old Trafford in 2014 may be on his way out of the club.
With the look of things, it remains uncertain the role Jose Mourinho will now give Rojo to play having changed his Shirt No.
The Portugal International might however not start Marcus Rojo again till the next transfer window in January when he might be sold out.
Jose Mourinho had been keen on bringing a new defender but none of the deal worked out for him.
