Arsenal reach conclusion on technical director?

Monchi

Emerging reports hints that the North London outfit Arsenal have reached a conclusion on who to name as the club’s technical director with Monchi mentioned, according to Daily Mail.

Monchi is the current director with the Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma but he has indicated his interest to quit the job for the North London, having met with the required standard and experience.

A number of persons were named for the job with former arsenal Marc Overmars and also linked but Monchi seems to have won the race.

However, it is speculated that he would resume later in June when the season ends to begin the new season and most importantly, help the club in their bid to engage in the coming summer transfer window.

It is no longer news that the Gunners have made it clear that the summer window will be a busy one for the club after they had a very slow winter transfer deals in January.

The North London outfit is in a need of quality defenders and a replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is set to leave the club to join Italian Serie A champions Juventus at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Monchi is understood to have a £1 million release clause at AS Roma.
