Man United vs Man City Preview, Team News, Who Will Win?

One match we are all looking forward to in the premier league this weekend is the Manchester Derby between Man United and Man City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Both sides are currently in good form, and while City are sitting at the top spot of the premier league table, their Manchester neighbours are sitting in the second position.

The Sunday game will be the 175th meeting between both clubs, and it will definitely be an interesting one to watch.

Manchester United thrashed Arsenal 3-1 during their last premier league game last weekend, and will be going into the Manchester Derby with full confidence following their 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Manchester City, on the other hand, are still flying hot on fire and are yet to lose a single game in the premier league this season so far. The citizens have won their last 13 premier league games and will be creating a new record in England if they can earn all three points against Man United this weekend.

They won a spirited West Ham side at home in their last top flight game, all thanks to a late goal from David Silva.

But after losing their first match of the season to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday night, it is understood that club captain Vincent Kompany is a doubt for the Sunday game, but David Silva will be able to participate.

Man United, on the other hand, will do without Paul Pogba who was shown a straight red card during last weekend’s game against Arsenal.

The duo of Michael Carrick and defender Eric Bailly are still out with injuries, but the likes of Ibrahimovic, Fellaini and Jones are expected to participate in the game.
