Liverpool have sealed the signing of left-back Tony Gallacher from Scottish side Falkirk, with the move now official on the Liverpool website.
The 18-year-old defender has been pictured alongside club legend Kenny Dalglish and will now join Liverpool’s development side.

Liverpool sign wonderkid
Notwithstanding his young age, Gallacher joins the Red having already been a first-team player at the Scottish outfit and seems a huge talent for the future at the club.
Klopp hand youngsters chance
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has shown he wants to give opportunities to young players during his time as Reds’ manager, with academy products like Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold breaking into the first-team under the German tactician’s watch.
The wonderkid will feel this could be a big move for him to develop in the English Premier League, and the Reds will hope they’ve signed for themselves a future star.
Given the manager’s desire to sign him this season and his track record with giving playing opportunities to youngsters, Reds fans may have to wait for no longer to see Gallacher playing waves in the senior team.
Liverpool winter transfers
The Merseyside giants also spent huge on landing defender Virgil van Dijk from Southampton this month, while Brazil international Philippe Coutinho has left the side for FC Barcelona.
