Marca, in their Thursday edition, have a report on Athletic Club Bilbao player Inaki Williams where they explained that Bundesliga club Dorussia Dortmund are very keen on the player.
The Spanish outlet additionally stated that Dortmund are not the only ones interested, but that Jurgen Klopp is eyeing Williams for Liverpool too.
The Reds boss ‘has reports on his table’ detailing the player’s talents, and it was reported that Liverpool have been following Williams’ progress.
Dortmund will want Williams as a potential replacement for African best player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who in the past few days talked about a possible move again.
One of Williams’ notable qualities is his speed. This has made Dortmund think he would slot in perfectly – and Liverpool too will have noted that.
It was reported that the price for both Liverpool and Dortmund would be €50m – which is his release clause at the Spanish club, and they won’t want to accept a penny less for him.
It is glaring that Liverpool wouldn’t be going to the stage of letting Klopp go through reports and consider a move if they weren’t prepared to pay the €50 million.
Klopp sure need to strengthen his squad if he want to win more matches
