Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has praised Barcelona boss, Erneste Valverde amid interest from the Catalan giants.
The full-back has been regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League, with his solid displays with Arsenal since he broke into the limelight in the last few seasons.
Bellerin has been linked with a move to the Catalan giants who are believed to be keen on signing him as an ideal fit for the right-back position which was left a void for Dani Alves who left the Camp Nou for Juventus on a free in 2015.
The Spaniard has now fuelled the speculation by admiring the new Barca boss while he also said his family to have moved to Barcelona for ‘family reasons’.
‘It is very nice to hear about the interest from a club like Barca, the club I grew up with from when I was a kid,’ Bellerin told Mundo Deportivo.
‘I do not know anything at the moment. I’m an Arsenal player, but we’ll see what happens.’
‘I have always been very happy [in London], my family settled over there with me, though now for family reasons they have returned to Barcelona,’
Arsenal fans will be terrified at the prospect of losing Bellerin this summer due to his pace and accuracy that has proved pivotal to them in many games. Although, the right-back was benched for most parts of the last few matches when they switched to the 3-4-3 formation.
