Bayern Leverkusen star player who is also a target for Manchester United- Hakan Calhanoglu, has revealed that it would be difficult to turn down an offer from Jose Mourinho. He was subject to an unsuccessful bid from former United boss Louis van Gaal back in 2015.
However, reports recently revealed that the red devils had sent representatives to Germany to monitor him earlier this season.
When asked to comment on his rumoured move to Manchester United, the 22-year old insisted that an offer from United would be difficult to refuse.
“Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs it would be difficult to turn them down,” he said. “but I have not said anything about any transfers or anything of the sort.”
Hakan Calhanoglu is a superb talented player with natural ability on the ball. He is a skillful player good in launching accurate passes across the pitch. He is likened to Mesut Ozil by those in Germany.
Nevertheless, if he should come over to Old Trafford, he would need to work very hard to be able to get a chance in the first team because finding a place in the squad would be difficult. He would need to contend with in-form players like Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard who have all displayed their brilliance during the red devils recent winning run. ,
However, Calhanoglu is one player to watch over the next few years due to his potentials.
